Spotlights: Marco Rose on the stage
Marco Ross, who was born in Leipzig on 11 September of 1976, played the left-back position on the VfB Leipzig, Hannover 96 and Mainz 05 teams and Retired on 1 July of 2011.
After finishing his career as a player, Marco Rose worked in Mainz with two leading coaches like Thomas Tuchel and Martin Schmidt.
In 2012, he was appointed coach of Lokomotive Leipzig of Germany’s Regional League.
In 2013, he became the leader of Red Bull Salzburg’s U16 team. He was the coach of Red Bull Salzburg’s U18 and U19 teams respectively.
In the 2016 -2017 season, he defeated Benfica 2–1 in the final of the UEFA Youth League.
In 2017, he was the technical director of Red Bull Salzburg’s A team, as a reward for his success in the UEFA Youth League.
During the 2017 -2018 season, Marco Rose was noted for his attacking football and this year he was in the semifinals of the UEFA Europa League.
